You know, I've talked about The Simpsons and Family Guy recently, but I never came across talking about this show yet. This is interesting since, I recently watched the episode "Cartoon Wars", which is one of my favorite episodes. It jabs on Family Guy quite accurately, and the plot was very interesting. Also, Cartman makes a pretty good point: Despite the show also having off-color humor at times, South Park is not entirely like Family Guy. And to be honest, I'm a big fan, and I enjoy South Park quite more. But the question is, why?
There are a lot of reasons. To put it short, I'm a fan of satire, and what South Park tends to pull off in episodes are pretty humorous in each episode. Aside from being topical, I also enjoy the random adventures that the main 4 children have in several episodes. Also, the writing can be clever. What can turn people away from South Park, is how offensive and vulgar the show is. And yes, there are a few episodes even I dislike. However, most of the time, the show does tend to be unique with their plots and be humorous about it. I'd say South Park was at its best by Seasons 5 and onward.
But honestly, it depends on how much you can take it from South Park. I know several people who dislike the series because of the reasons I mentioned. And you know the common saying, "It's not as good as it used to be". I wouldn't EXACTLY say that when it comes to South Park. There are recent episodes that are okay at best, but I really enjoyed Season 17, especially the Black Friday Trilogy. It can still have pretty good episodes.
But that's all I have to say. I'd like to know your thoughts. Also, I found this today. About time... [link]

Total Dramarama - From Badge to Worse
Spoilers, of course. Haven't written about an episode in a while, so I'll briefly talk about today's. "From Badge to Worse" involves Courtney needing a "Make A New Friend" badge, and it appears that she's friends with everyone in daycare, except for Gwen.
With All-Stars and their attempt at making Gwen and Courtney friends failed, this episode to me felt like the writer for this episode wanted to handle Gwen and Courtney's relationship better. That's not to say this episode will fix anything in the long run, but it was moreso a nice several minutes of these two characters interacting, and that's what I really wanted, anyway.
Some may be dis
Total Dramarama - Duck Duck Juice
Here's my thoughts on the second episode of "Total Dramarama". This will contain some spoilers, and for those who have seen the episode, I'm sure you'll know what I'll talk about.
This episode involves Jude and Izzy daring each other to drink Chef's "Rainbow Juice", and that leaves them super-hyper. I liked this episode more than "Venthalla". Part of that is due to seeing Courtney in charge and sticking to the rules, which fits her original character. Some scenes with her and Duncan were pretty cute too, showing that she still keep him in line. Also, you get some interesting references, such as a crayon-styled flashback that involves a toddl
Total Dramarama - Venthalla
The first episode of "Total Dramarama" released early. In short, it was decent. I didn't laugh a lot, and I'll still need to get used to the pitched-up/new voices for some of the cast, but at least the episode itself was amusing to watch. It's still funny that after 10 years of Total Drama, we get this kind of spinoff. I'll watch more of it.
In case you're curious which characters of the original cast are in this show, here's the list:
What we knew already: Duncan, Courtney, Beth, Izzy, Owen
What we know now: Leshawna, Harold, Gwen, Cody, Noah, Bridgette
Also, Creepy Child Gwen is adorable.
A Journal About DA
I noticed it's been over seven years since I've made an account. Things have definitely changed in what I create, and how I do it. It's at least interesting to see what a few years does to someone, I suppose. I enjoyed this site a lot back then, wanting to post something everyday, and even doing a lot of RPs.
For the past few months, though, I'm honestly feeling burnt out here. That's not to say that I dislike the site now. I would occasionally check messages to see new art arriving from people I follow, and it's nice to know that some people can still have fun posting a lot of content. I just personally haven't had the motivation to do the
